THE GOOD LIFE
A popular saying by Walter Hagen goes thus -“You’re only here for a short visit. Don’t hurry, don’t worry. And be sure to smell the flowers along the way.” That is the premise of the good life tour. Because, let’s face it, no matter what happens, you have only one life to live. So you need to make the best of it.
Why not live it to the fullest. Not constantly worrying about how the bills will be paid or who will take care of your kids, if your spouse is cheating on you, or if you'll be a part of the next big lay off on your job. These are the very things that are robbing you of joy.
Why not forget the past, forget all that and live in the present.
I mean really live in the present because the present is really what it means; the gift of life.
Do you know there a difference between living good and living the good life?
Here are the signs of living good-
You have jewelry of all kinds
You can press a button on your phone and order any type of food
You drive the latest edition of the best car of your choice.
You have a closet filled with bags of different colours and brands
Your meals are an assortment of special delicacies
Your office is at the topmost floor of a high rise building
Yes, you have all these but you feel empty inside, you feel unfulfilled. This life has no meaning.
On the other hand, when you are living the good life, your life has a daily navigation set to reaching love and happiness through self-mastery. The good life is much more than a life filled with external things such as food, sex, and other indulgences. It is a life of purpose, fulfillment, courage, honesty, kindness, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
A life that avoids negative experiences, seeks self-development and contributes to the lives of others. A life that is not perfect but yet you keep the lessons you learned along the way in consideration.
A life you cultivate and create that aligns with many feel-good experiences in harmony with victorious living. A life lived where your name is associated with warmth, kindness, and love.
An accumulation of many happy and loving experiences that is enviable and admirable. This is the good life.
Signs of living the good life
You have a job or career you really like and enjoy
You have a business built around your life purpose which gives you joy
You have various sources of income such that you are not pressured by finances
You wake up each morning happy, satisfied and fulfilled with life
You are happy with yourself, confident and empowered with who you are despite what you've gone through
You are happy satisfied and confident in your relationship.
You are healthy, full of energy and love your body
That is how you know that you are living the good life.
Its time you stop drifting through life. Its time you take charge of your life and gain your confidence back. It’s time to reclaim the success and happiness that you’ve lost in your life.
The Good Life will consist of a 10 city book tour promoting love and happiness. “Pretty On Pretty Off”, is a self-help that tells of my own journey of abuse and the mindset of victorious living. A part of the proceeds will go to select charitable causes including women shelters, youth outreach, new homeowners, low-income students, and other humanitarian causes.
Welcome to the Good Life!
